Grasslands, are contained within Colorado Game Management Unit 135, a Plains Elk Unit. Plains Elk
Units allow unlimited over-the-counter Elk tags from September 1 through January 31 (bull or cow and
weapon of choice).
This is the perfect basecamp to explore the hundreds of thousands of acres of grasslands that have been
set aside to commemorate the vastness of the American West. Parcels priced below $800 per acre and
offering similar recreational opportunities are exceedingly rare.
